Services for the Nativity of Christ

Prepare, O Bethlehem, for Eden has been opened to all! Adorn yourself, O Ephratha, for the tree of life blossoms forth from the Virgin in the cave! Her womb is a spiritual paradise planted with the Divine Fruit: If we eat of it, we shall live forever and not die like Adam. Christ comes to restore the image which He made in the beginning!

– Troparion of the Forefeast of the Nativity of Christ

Our parish community will begin the celebration of the Great Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ, with the Festal Vigil (Compline, Lity, & Matins) on the eve, Tuesday December 24, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, concluding with our traditional singing of some few festive carols in the narthex. On Wednesday, December 25, we will celebrate the Festal Divine Liturgy a bit later than usual, at 10:00 AM.

We hope you will join us!
